I do not know what type of training Canon employees go through, but I can you that other companies would be wise to follow suit!!
I had the pleasure of dealing with Jason today. He was very informative and helped me set up an apple laptop so I could print/scan via wireless. We spent almost 50 minutes on the phone as he helped me a great deal. Jason was very patient and a true professional the entire time.
If anyone has a need for a printer/scanner you should buy a Canon!!! Awesome customer service.

I have been so busy at work that I finally had the time to call their tech help/support line today. I was actually talking to someone live within 2 minutes!! Her name was Ebone’. She was unreal!! The nicest, kindest most patient person I have ever dealt with in my life.
She helped me set up my wireless connection on my apple desktop computer, hp netbook and my toshiba laptop. Now I can enjoy the beautiful desert views, working on my patio etc… If I need to print using the wireless feature, it will not be a problem thanks to Ebone’. I do not know what Canon is paying her, but trust me when I tell you they should give her a nice big fat raise.
It is so rare to actually get someone that first of all knows what they are doing and secondly a person that has such an awesome attitude. Ebone’ is a jewel!!
