The other night I took my wife out to Outback restaurant here in Jackson Mississippi. As I drove around in the parking lot I could not find any parking spaces to park my car in. So I parked my vehicle in one of the five parking spaces (Food to Go). It was starting to get dark and I did not want to park to the rear of the restaurant because of the dangers at night in the Jackson Mississippi area and extreme high crime rate.
My wife had already went into Outback and obtained a table. The hostess approached me as I was sitting at the table and said “You’re going to have to move your vehicle which you parked in the (Food to go) spot.” I told here that there were no parking spaces available at this time and what’s the big deal I am a paying customer if you don’t want me here I will leave. When I told her that she walked away and didn’t say a word. I felt belittled, intimitaded and not welcome and nearly left the restaurant without ordering because of these comments.
Our server was prompt, pleasant and attentetive. However the special of $9.95 which was a steak, shrimp and potatoe, when delivered all 3 items were cold, the steak dry and the shrimp were very small and this looked nothing like the picture on the menu.
In closing I do not recommend Outback in Jackson, MS especially if you want quality food at an inexpensive price.
