I dont know what happened to Dana Patrick, but a friend recommended me to her. I also know a girl who worked with her and their pictures came out great (the pics were taken 2 years ago, and still works well). Dana is getting crazy with cutting off of her pictures, my eye is almost out on one side of my picture. I was told it was her signature to take non-centered shots, but she’s gone too far.
To all the dark-skin black women, please dont use her make-up artist. The lady is still using old colors on dark skin, even Dana had to tell her to tone down the gold. But, in the end you could still see bad colors used. I have no clue about make-up and didn’t understand this until my sister saw the pics, now i am studying make-up to learn what i need. Wish i did that before, but i know now.
I feel like i’ve wasted time and money with Dana. I don’t know if she’s getting worse or what. The sad part is, i thought i did all my homework and research. My friend and i were so excited about my shoot. I know she isn’t GOD, but if you’re paying all that money she needs to be consistent (she should know when someone is too far out of frame, as an photographer whose worked for years). I wouldn’t recommend her.
Jonesy, i wish i could see your pics.

Jonesy from El Cajon, CA says,
This LA Photographer was very disappointing. I expected a lot more from her, especially after seeing her website. But almost every picture she took of me was offset, my head was cut off in most. My body in others. My agent and my acting coach were horrified. I grew to like some of the shots. The whole experience was traumatic. She refers you to her photo lab and they try to rip you off. The CD that comes with the shoot is in low res, so you cant transfer the files to computer. Its really a rip off. Her make up artist did a beautiful job on my makeup but she had a bitchy attitude. I tried to make conversation but she barely responded. She seemed bored w her job and not too interested in making me feel welcome. She was all bundled up in a long coat and scarf and I was barefoot freezing on a cold concrete floor. It was so cold I was shaking but didnt say anything. Dana laughed and made a comment that I was shaking. Thats when I knew I made a mistake. Then she started to talk smack about a recent model that complained the concrete was cold. Then, if that wasnt enough, she talked smack about her landlord. He then walked in and she acted sweet as pie. After he left more smack talking. Hipocrite! She is pretentious and definitely not worth the money! Do not go to this photographer. She doesnt know anything about customer service. She refused to retake the photos even though she ruined them. She cut my head in most shots. Even though she knew I wanted them as headshots, where the face should be front and center. Stay away from this wack job.
